The Thrill of Victory

On June 23rd I was a competitor in the Arizona Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu State Championships. I signed up for the Blue Belt Masters division so that I wouldn't have to fight anyone under 35.

Unfortunately they didn't have a Masters division, which explains why I found myself up against Jamie Varner for my second fight.

Thanks, Steve. As you can tell from my expression in the photo, I was very glad when the fight was over!

Yeah, it's a good pic. I didn't know you started taking this up again. That's pretty cool.

This year has been the longest injury-free run (excluding my 2 years in VA) I've ever had--not including bruises, that is.

If I believed in jinxes I'd now start worrying that it'll soon be coming to an end.

I know you don't know me BUT I wanted to tell you that regarding the post you did about Smith & Merritt....my husband used to work at the company and you will be pleased to know that while my husband pulled out of the company and went to a more honest one we threatened to sue them and got our money back. The two are now under FEDERAL investigation because they have committed Securities Fraud among many other frauds. They will be in prision for a LONGGGGG time!

IF You have complaints that can be placed I have contact numbers I can give you or others! The more the better! His poor wife is divorcing him (she was brutally scammed by him poor girl!) and I think this man needs to pay for his dishonesty as well as Catherine!

Anyway, just supporting you and sorry to hear he was such a snake!

Have a great day and feel free to email me!
